Keys To Chicago Bears Success

For the first time since 1941, the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers are facing off in the playoffs. Here are the keys to success for the Chicago Bears:

1. Control the ball

Aaron Rodgers can’t score if he doesn’t have the ball in his hands. The Bears need to utilize the run and continually get first downs to dominate time of possession.

2. Creative Defensive Schemes

It is a well known fact the Bears love Cover 2 defense, however, it is also well know that Green Bay can pick that apart with the quality of receivers they possess. Disguise blitzes, man coverage, and a dominant front four will be the keys for the Bears D.

3. Special Teams

The most underrated aspect of football. Da Bears have a dominant special teams with the likes of Devin Hester and Robbie Gould, and we need to utilize them. Field position will be a key factor in helping the Bears offense gain momentum and hopefully, touchdowns.

4. Create Turnovers

Easier said than done. However, a Charles Tillman forced fumble or a Julius Peppers knockout will definiteley change the game in a hurry. Once again, taking the ball away from Aaron Rodgers can yield huge dividends.

5. Smart Quarterback Play

If you ask me, the reason the Bears have been playing so well lately is because Jay Cutler is making smart decisions with the football. He needs to get the ball out of his hands quickly to receivers Hester and Knox and not sit in the pocket while the tenacious Green Bay defense chases after him like psychos.
